Toby & Kesha Philyaw (Founders of Blessings Galore)
Toby and Kesha Philyaw are the proud visionaries of Blessings Galore Non-profit Organization. Toby Philyaw is the President and Kesha Philyaw is the Vice President. Their story began many years ago as they assisted family and friends who had true needs. Over the years, this dynamic husband/wife team always encouraged others, and shared valuable information that would be beneficial to those they helped.
After watching the government shutdown in 2018-2019, the repercussions of the shutdown affected so many people, which resulted in many individuals not being able to afford the basic needs. As a result, the mission continued, only assisting family and friends. However, God wanted more for them. He wanted to stretch them more because he had a much bigger plan in store.
The Philyaw’s shared passion for community service, genuine hospitality for others and obedience to God has always been at the center of their core. Thus, this passion opened their hearts to start Blessings Galore. This powerful duo has two beautiful daughters, Brianna and Madison. They consistently raise their daughters to be a blessing to those they encounter, whether it be a friendly smile, a cordial greeting, or a big hug to make their day. The Philyaw family has a strong sense of purpose, and you won’t find a kinder President and Vice President. They are down to earth and exhibit true compassion and sensitivity to the needs of others.
Communication and transparency are two key components in EVERYTHING, which is why Blessings Galore continues to build bridges, listening to the needs of others, coupled with the sharing of ideas to determine what will work and what will not. Blessings Galore operates from a God first mentality and has no interest in straying from it. They cannot do this alone- as it takes a village!
